A photo charter organized by Matt Fielding on the SVR with No42968. One of my favorite locos. In fact this was the second charter I'd been on involving her. I first was when she was visiting GCR in October 2010 the weather was very Misty and murky for that one. Very atmospheric! (go to 2010, Photo charters for those shots)
Matt had requested that she was not cleaned for a few weeks up to this charter to get that work worn finish. The day did start a bit overcast but gradually the sun broke through and gave us some brighter spells later in the day.
A big thankyou to the crew and anyone else at the SVR who had a part in it and of course Matt for all his efforts as well.
