Another visit to the Battlefield line. This time to see The Mayflower before she leaves for Barrow Hill. There is just one more weekend when she is due to haul trains before this happens.
The weather wasn't quite as good as on my previous visit but the sun did shine for some of the time. The day ended with a heavy thunderstorm.
Again as usual a very friendly welcome from the staff on the railway with made for another very enjoyable day!

Splendid photographs of MAYFLOWER. As I am building a 7 1/4 G B1 in 1947 livery, very useful too.
