As I have been feeling a little under the weather lately and my poor old knees were giving me some jip. I ended up just visiting Chicken curve for a few hours before deciding on a quick ride up the the bridge at the top of Dixton cutting. I only stayed for a couple of trains as the Prescott Hill climb event was in full flow and the traffic in that area was horrendous. Besides, the temperature had risen quite a lot which made for no exhaust from the locos whatsoever. There was Just enough time for one more shot down at Greet before heading back home.

Guestbook for GWSR COTSWOLD FESTIVAL OF STEAM 2016 (Swindon built)
Peter de Groot
Thank you for the high class photography. I have viewed this site for a while and always enjoyed your work. Have (and I know you don't come south often) any pictures of the Swanage Railway. If you have a good one I'd like it for my railway room. Best wishes Peter de Groot
