The Severn Valley Railway runs through some beautiful Worcestershire and Shropshire countryside. The line runs between Kidderminster in the south to Bridgnorth to the north. It has several other stations along the route including Bewdley, Arley, Highley and Hampton Loade. These is a small disused but nicely kept station at Eardington. The line follow the course of the River Severn and crosses it over the Famous Victoria bridge just south of Arley. Highley is the home of the visitor centre where locos can be viewed under cover. The engine shed is based at Bridgnorth with carriage works at Kiddermnster and Bewdley. There are plans to construct a freight wagon shed just outside Bewdley (subject to funds being raised) Plenty of pubs and places of interest to visit along the route.
